We’re going to be traveling a little bit in the next four weeks so the office will be closed. We will try to answer emails and voice mails as best as we can. Print orders will be taken care of once we return.
Here is where we are going to be. If you wish to schedule a session with us in one of these cities or just hang out, fire me off an email!
March 7-11 : Las Vegas
March 29-April 3 : San Francisco bay area
April 5-6 : Seattle
April 7-8 : Vancouver
And here is a preview image from the session at Lake Louise with Jennie and Shane.

Woohoo! All our wedding story books from the our 2009 weddings arrived last week. Once we have delivered each album, we can satisfactorily say we are completely done for the 2009 season. Since we’ll likely never see these books again, I decided to take some photos on our dining table to share with everyone.
The first album is covered with brown lizard print leather. I think it is quite elegant and suits our dark decor really well. The second set is a textured leather album on top and a faux suede fabric album below. Many of our brides order an engagement album to complement their wedding story book. We like to recommend going with the 8×12 for the engagement book and a 10×15 for the wedding album. And this would be how we would display it at home, one on top of the other in a pyramid.
Our books are called flush mount albums because the images are directly mounted onto a thick cardboard core (1-2mm depending on paper options). The photo shows roughly how thick each page is. Each spread also opens flat in the middle. You can see more album samples by clicking on CATEGORIES on the top right of this page and selecting Products.

One frame from a concept shoot I did last month.

We still can’t believe Photobolic has been selected by Weddingbells Magazine to be one of 25 Best Photographers in Canada. There is so much talent in Canada and I can think of quite a few other photographers that should have made the list as well.
Furthermore, we can’t take the full credit for this. I think a lot of it should go to each and every one of our brides and grooms and the vendors that have worked together with us at every event. Without their hard work and creativity, there would be no beautiful cakes, flowers, dresses and veils to photograph. Thank you all!

Thanks, Weddingbells!

Took these images from my iphone today. The first ones were while sitting at Phil & Sebastian’s at Marda Loop. Then the rest were of random stuff around our home.
