i'm so glad that summer is finally upon us and the monsoons are behind us. i've been looking forward to finer weather so i could shoot kaley and jordan with an old bus i found a while back. we ended up meeting a few new friends along the way and found some pretty cool stuff such as abandoned cars, canoes and hidden alcoves all in the radius of a few yards.

tricia and byron got married on a crazy day where it felt like mother nature was having a bipolar disorder attack. the weather alternated from bright sunshine to hurricane-like rainstorm. fortunately, the conservatory at the calgary zoo provided all the shelter we needed for the ceremony.

eight years ago today, two people got married. it was a small wedding with about thirty guests. fast forward to 2008. we looked through our box of mementos from that afternoon. a signing book, photos, candles, invites and other trinkets this evening. coolio, thanks, hun.

it is monsoon season in calgary but fortunately, clark is a pilot and we were able to use the hangar at kenn borek air (who doesn't love a pilot). we wanted to shoot more outdoors but weather didn't really cooperate. lizzy, maybe you can ask clark to get us a plane on your wedding day. a nice white limo with wings. =)

moon and bernard, you couldn't have picked a more beautiful day to get married. what a difference compared to the last time we shot together where it was cold and chilly. moon, you look simply stunning in that evalina dress. i hope you had a great time in hawaii.

wonderful tricia and byron, one of the most courageous couples i have met yet. they have no problems scaling walls and climbing under stairs so i can get my shot! as byron said, we can't really tell from the photos who precariously close we all were from rolling down a hill.
