well happy easter, everyone! i spent my “time off” trying to play catchup. the last two weeks i have been focused on bringing the new photobolic site live while at the same time, trying to deliver engagement sessions. as a result, i have been delinquent in many other areas.
on a more positive note, those folks at caffe artigiano finally opened up in calgary. caffe artigiano is quite a well known coffee shop in vancouver. their baristas have placed in barista championships numerous times. i have never gone to vancouver without stopping by their pender and thurlow location for a latte.
since thursday, i obsessively visited their calgary location three times. their coffee is good, but i’m not yet convinced they are on par with their vancouver colleagues yet. i suspect it’s because they are still sorting out the kinks of opening a new store. i truly hope they will get better because starbucks have been dropping the ball for me lately. =)
