i’m so glad that summer is finally upon us and the monsoons are behind us. i’ve been looking forward to finer weather so i could shoot kaley and jordan with an old bus i found a while back. we ended up meeting a few new friends along the way and found some pretty cool stuff...

tricia and byron wedding
tricia and byron got married on a crazy day where it felt like mother nature was having a bipolar disorder attack. the weather alternated from bright sunshine to hurricane-like rainstorm. fortunately, the conservatory at the calgary zoo provided all the shelter we needed for the ceremony.
just us two
click on any image to see it bigeight years ago today, two people got married. it was a small wedding with about thirty guests. fast forward to 2008. we looked through our box of mementos from that afternoon. a signing book, photos, candles, invites and other trinkets this evening. coolio, thanks, hun.
lizzy and clark engagement
it is monsoon season in calgary but fortunately, clark is a pilot and we were able to use the hangar at kenn borek air (who doesn’t love a pilot). we wanted to shoot more outdoors but weather didn’t really cooperate. lizzy, maybe you can ask clark to get us a plane on your wedding day....

moon and bernard, you couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day to get married. what a difference compared to the last time we shot together where it was cold and chilly. moon, you look simply stunning in that evalina dress. i hope you had a great time in hawaii.
tricia and byron engagement
wonderful tricia and byron, one of the most courageous couples i have met yet. they have no problems scaling walls and climbing under stairs so i can get my shot! as byron said, we can’t really tell from the photos who precariously close we all were from rolling down a hill.
