sarah and michael wedding

When Sarah and Michael asked us to travel to Panorama for their outdoor wedding, we knew it was going to be a super fun event.  Di and I arrived there on Friday night and they had already been partying there for a few days with their friends and family, many of whom traveled from Winnipeg.

The evening started off with plate smashing outside Choppers Landing where every single guest smashed dishes in the parking lot. Then we all went over to their chalet for their crazy hat party and witness the infamous shot ski in action for the first time (see pictures below). What a marvelous invention!

On wedding day, we all went to the top of the mountain for their ceremony by the chair lift. The weather turned out to be beautiful with some cloud cover and no rain. Sarah walked up to Michael along a trail of orange petals who was eagerly waiting for her with best man Steve. The intimate congregation witnessed their exchange of wedding vows with the Canadian Rockies on one side and downhill mountain bikers on the other. After the ceremony, we spent a bit of time up top for some pictures before going over to Choppers Landing for the reception.

Thanks, Sarah and Michael for a wonderful weekend! We had too much fun at the reception!
