Ewelina and Steve’s wedding has got to be one of our favourites this year. It was a hot Saturday but fortunately, the ceremony was in the incredibly cool St. Lukes Parish, an impressive concrete structure that was dedicated in the late 60′s. I really love this church because it has tonnes of natural light streaming in from skylights over the altar.
After the ceremony, we all drove downtown to have pictures taken with the wedding party before heading over to the reception at the Hyatt. Steve and Ewelina had transformed the Hyatt into an intimate experience for all their guests. They had carried the pink and white theme of their wedding throughout all the details of the venue. I think the best part of the day was the traditional Polish breaking of the bread ceremony, where the two had to take a shot of vodka each upon entering the reception.
