Dawn and Scott were married at the Banff Central Park in front a small group of family and friends. The groomsmen all wore Kangols and white Vans decorated with their own individual graphics. Dawn’s gown was made by Rose Brooks and she wore red heels to match Scott’s red on black.
At the reception, Dawn and Scott had made most of the decorations themselves. They went for cupcakes instead of a regular cake. Among the guests were Glenna and Kris whose epic wedding we photographed at Kicking Horse last May. Glenna had just given birth to baby Kaia. Congrats, guys!
This year, more than half our weddings have been in the Canadian Rockies in places such as Banff, Lake Louise and Canmore. There will be a few more before the season’s over. I just love traveling out of town in the summer and this year has been awesome for us. Hope next year will be no different.
Finally, this wedding I had Alicia second shoot with me for the day. Miraculously our friendship is still intact – high five!
