the parker palm springs {part 1}

Di and I headed out to Palm Springs for a weekend last month for a bit of a break before shooting the last four weddings this year. One of the places I had to visit was the Parker Palm Springs. It’s a mid-century modern hotel designed by the celebrated Jonathan Adler. We have been collecting his pottery for almost a decade and thought it would be just fab to be able to experience his madness here!

There’s really nothing mundane about this place. There’s tonnes of things to do and experience. We started out with breakies at Norma’s where I had a chocolate French toast. Di had a Belgium waffle of some sorts. Both of us exceeded my annual maximum calorie allowance right there. It was so good and terrible at the same time. The rest of the time there, we just hung out around the grounds, exploring, photographing the hotel and just chilling out.

Such an amazing and fun place. I never thought I’d ever say this about any hotel. We’re def gonna be going back there again.
