Finally got around to finishing this wedding bridal session we did before Christmas. Bridals are more of a southern tradition where the bride only would dress up in her wedding dress to get some creative images done before the actual wedding day. One reason is because southern weddings go straight from the ceremony to the reception. There is no gap in the middle where the wedding party would go out to have photos taken before going to the reception.
I like the idea of a bridal because it gives me an opportunity to experiment creatively with different concepts without the constraints and stress of the wedding day. If you have an awesome dress and are interested in doing something fun like this, let me know!
The dress and veils in these images were custom made by Tracey at Couture Gown Studio. I first heard about Tracey and her company last summer when I first fell in love with Karen’s dress, which was made by her. Since then, Tracey and I have been talking about doing a bridal using some of her creations and so here it is. If you are interested in any of these items or would like to have a custom something something made just for you, give her a shout.
