Springtime and wedding season in Calgary is starting to kick into high gear for us. And what a perfect way for us to kick off this season with this amazing wedding that Sarah and Hayden put up. The whole event was designed by Sarah and her mother Kris. There were a tonne of hand made items and details that made this wedding so special for everyone. It goes to show that a little bit of creativity goes a long way.
There was a last minute change of venue at Spruce Meadows which turned out to be a real blessing. The new space was much better than the original location and really allowed them to show off the little details and creations Kris had made. The original plan was to have the ceremony outside but due to the risk of rain, it moved inside. I actually liked the indoor location more as it fit in quite well with the rest of their yellow and gray theme.
I also want to thank our friend Jeff from YVR who helped us cover this wedding. I’m a little amused we are still friends after this. Thanks, bro! =)
